Identify potential areas that provide shelter for insects during the day such as welcome mats, plant containers, patio furniture, trash bins, or leaf litter and debris throughout the yard. Treat under and around these locations to reduce the amount of insects around your home. If there is an excess of debris or leaf litter consider cleaning those areas up to eliminate harborage areas where pests can thrive.
