The bellows style hand duster can be a confusing piece of equipment. The tendency is to use it with the lid facing up, but that is actually upside down! The bellows should never be filled more than 1/2 way with dust. Adding a few small pebbles or a coin keeps the dust from clumping and acts as an agitator. Finally, with the lid back in place, flip the duster and it's ready to go! Before each squeeze of the duster a quick shake will ensure a nice puff of dust and a light, even application to the area being treated. Another nice feature, that often times goes unnoticed, is the ram rod tool used to unclog the duster, this is unscrewed from the back of the tool.
