It's November in Arizona and we all know what that means, the start of cooler weather! Our days are still pretty warm but our nights are starting to cool off quite a bit and these are good conditions for termites and certain weeds to thrive. The warm weather of the summer and plenty of rain this monsoon season were the perfect combination for termite colonies to grow and expand and now the newly organized colonies will be looking for food to continue to establish themselves. Be on the lookout around your property for mud tubes, typically about the width of a pencil, that snake from the ground up the stem wall, if you see any of these you will want to schedule an inspection so you can find out what treatment options are available to eliminate the termites and protect your home from future invasion. Occasionally the termites find cracks in the foundation and are able to enter a wall undetected until they end up eating through the drywall at which time they may start building mud tubes right out of the wall or ceiling! If you see signs of termites or just want to make sure your home is protected contact Bugs, Weeds and More and find out what you can do about it today! Call (480) 832-1913.
